Wow! After the operation, the surgical scissors got stuck in this woman's stomach
A woman from Turkey suffered an unfortunate incident after surgery. He complained of excruciating pain in his stomach after undergoing tummy tuck surgery.
After being checked, apparently the surgeon was careless and left the surgical scissors in his stomach.
Quoted from the Mirror, Nurcihan Ogmen, 61, was initially told by doctors that pain after surgery is normal. Local news agency AHaber said the surgical removal of the excess skin on Nurchihan's stomach lasted nearly five hours.
The next day he was discharged but decided to return to the hospital after his stomach was swollen and in excruciating pain. Unfortunately the surgeon who treated him did nothing and just said it was normal.
"After the surgery, my pain got worse. I still feel the pain and haven't fully recovered," he said.
"It got so bad that I went for check-ups almost every week. The doctor didn't believe me and sent me home saying I just needed to be patient.
She and her husband went to Soke State Hospital with her husband because her symptoms continued for two months.
X-rays showed that Nurcihan had scissors in his stomach. He then returned to the surgeon who had treated him earlier and removed the scissors in an operation that took up to two hours.
Nurcihan filed a complaint with the authorities about the surgeon along with the hospital administration and other medical personnel involved in the operation. Hospital officials have not yet commented on the case.
