Don't Go To Sleep! This is the reason for peeing after making love is very important
Have you made it a habit to urinate after sex? It should not be underestimated, apparently it is very important you know to pee after making love. Indeed, what is its function? What's the harm in going to sleep immediately after making love without taking the time to pee first?
Urinating is the first step to cleaning the intimate area after sex. In fact, doctors also recommend peeing before making love.
"By urinating both before and after sex, the urine stream automatically cleans and removes bacteria that could enter the urethra, where you urinate," explains gynecologist Dr Alyssa Dweck,
"Peeing before sex can also be beneficial as it decompresses the bladder for comfort."
Not just for women
Many people think, pee before and after sex is only necessary for women. In fact, this step is no less important for men.
Dr. Dweck explained, the urethra in men is longer than women, so the risk of infection is lower. However, this does not guarantee that men are free from the risk of infection, especially from unprotected sex.
"In female anatomy, the urethra, vagina and rectum are all close to each other so there's a higher risk of these bacteria passing the rectal area into your urethra during sex," he says.
"So, by getting rid of that bacteria, you reduce the chances of getting a urinary tract infection," concluded Dr. Dweck.
